La Paz is clearly not on the list of my favorite cities but it offers some amazing views. The city is located in a small valley, its altitude spanning from 3000m to 4000m. From one side to another you’re only seeing a wall of small orange-brick houses. At night, this transforms in a beautiful wall of light.
You’ll definitely walk slowly as the altitude, the constant up and down hill and the pollution makes visiting the city a physical effort by itself. Anyway, there is nothing charming about the administrative capital of Bolivia and while some will stay for the party, you can move on quickly.
