Mendoza: Wine And Mountains
Argentina
Mendoza is famous for being the wine capital of Argentina. It's the gateway to the vineyards of the region and host of the country's biggest wine festival which I missed by a few. Mendoza is also the last city on the road to Chile across the Andes mountain range. They are more than a few activities to do around. The city is however very quiet during the day and only wakes up at night. The... read more »

Cordoba And Around
Argentina
A few days in Cordoba which is a nice city. I will remember this place more because of the hostel I stayed at which was very cool rather than anything special in the city. I wanted to do a trip to the nearby mountain range but had to fallback on another plan when then tour company forgot to pick me up. Instead, I did a 3h bus ride from the local bus station to the middle of nowhere. Fun ... read more »

The Raw Power of Iguazu Falls
Argentina
Iguazu Falls was the best come back possible to Argentina from Brazil. The falls are truly worth the detour from any trip in any of those two countries. The Argentinean side is however the one you'll want to see. I first stopped in Foz do Iguaçu on the Brazilian side. Brazil faces the waterfalls and walking along the river provides some beautiful views. The path ends on the bottom side o... read more »

While at the hostel in Buenos Aires, someone recommended a friend and I to go to a show called Fuerza Bruta. I had never heard of it before and bought the ticket without really knowing what I was going to watch. Click here to watch on Youtube It was an awesome show and an incredible experience. The performance takes place in the middle of the crowd and guests actively participate. ... read more »

Tango Passion
Argentina
There is no doubt that Tango is part of Argentinean culture. I can actually feel why it originated from Buenos Aires as this place as the vibe, the rhythm and the passion that goes into the dance. Dancing Tango in Buenos Aires seems to be the perfect match. With this feeling in mind, what better place than the Argentine capital to watch a Tango show. There are legions available, most of ... read more »

Buenos Aires: A Multi-Faceted City
Argentina
After six weeks in Montréal, it was time to move on to South America. (By the way, that was my longest stop in a single place this year!). I was finally going to a continent that I didn't know at all and that I was eager to explore. I chose Buenos Aires as my first stop as I heard a lot of good about it and my readings on the subject made me conclude that I had to visit the "Paris of the So... read more »
