Business Cards from Moo.com
I had read on some blog that it was nice and useful to have some “business cards” on you while traveling. I’m quoting business card because they do not have to be about business. It’s easy this way to leave your coordinates. I found the idea really nice and also wanted to try moo.com for some time. I heard a lot of positive reviews on Moo and I’m in fact really satisfied. The cards arrived q... read more »

Packing for one year of travel
Living a year with only one bag of stuff can be challenging. Here’s how I packed my carry-on backpack for such a long time. The Bag® Choosing a bag was quite tricky and it took me much more time than I thought it would. At first I was thinking of taking a big hiking bag of 60L. After reading about the subject, I came to realize that my trip wasn’t some kind of long hike but simply a long trip... read more »

Planning a Round-The-World Trip
Planning a trip around the world is already the start of the adventure. It’s a task which seems daunting and many people told me they “wouldn’t even know where to start”! However, it’s not as hard as you may think but it sure takes a lot of time! Having a rough idea I thought a lot about doing a round the world trip before acting on it. Part of doing it is fulfilling a dream, thus knowing wh... read more »

Recap of My First Solo Travel Experience
As you may have noticed if you’ve been following the blog, I did a bit of traveling this month. Before leaving for my big trip, I wanted to visit the cities I was really missing in Europe, mostly in Italy. It was also a good way to try out solo traveling for the first time. I left from Toulouse by plane with EasyJet to Rome. I took the train on the fifth day to Florence and after a few days t... read more »

Beautiful Prague
Czech Republic
I had heard so many raving reviews from friends about Prague that it was a city I was expecting a lot and it was indeed the perfect place to conclude my trip! I only stayed 2 nights there (I should have stayed one more night) but I had enough time to visit the most important things and take a good walk around the city. The main site to visit is the Castle of Prague, which is the biggest castle... read more »

Hard to be single in Venice
Italy
Venice is truly a unique and magical place and it’s a real pleasure to get lost in the city. The only problem was that I was alone when the fact is Venice is a destination for couples. Literally getting lost in the city is the only way to get a feel of Venice. Anyways, everybody probably ends up lost as following a map is too much work. Most streets are really narrow and have turns and corne... read more »

A few days in Firenze
Italy
I was in Florence (Firenze in Italian) for the last few days, birth place of the Renaissance and quite a nice city. The historic center is a mix of narrow streets and old buildings with luxury shops. Of course the city is also full of museums and churches. Florence is all about Art and churches. The dome of the Duomo was, when constructed, the biggest in the world and is really impressive.... read more »

Benvenuto a Roma
Italy
I left Roma this morning after 3 and a half days visiting what is a wonderful city. The first one on my 15 days trip from Rome to Prague. I didn’t loose time on arrival and after an hour of bus from the Fiumicino airport (half the price compared to the train) and checking in at my hostel I went straight to visit the monument I’ve been waiting for the most. The Coliseum is to Rome what the E... read more »

A few weeks ago I visited the Tutankhamun exhibition that was help in Paris (Toutankhamon in French). I’ve always been fascinated by Ancient Egypt and this event was the perfect place to learn more about the only perfectly preserved tomb ever found. read more »
